Will enroll at Oregon State in January … Letterwinner for head coach Charles Mincy, an NFL veteran … Helped lead Dorsey to the CIFLACS Division I Championship game after winning its first three games by a combined 146-35 score. The team entered the playoffs as the sixth seed out of 16 teams … Ranked as the No. 49 tight end by 247Sports and 110th overall in the state of California. Ranked 99th in California by Rivals … Rated three stars by both 247Sports and Rivals … First-team all-city and all-league at Dorsey … Passed for 490 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior while also hauling in nine passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns … As a junior, caught eight passes for 148 yards and five touchdowns while passing for 245 yards and one touchdown … Finished his sophomore season with seven catches for 100 yards and one touchdown. Passed for 248 yards and three touchdowns … Invited to play for the USA National Team but instead intends to enroll early at Oregon State … Has also participated in track at Dorsey … Born April 4, 2000 … Intends to study business at Oregon State … Earned academic honor roll every year at Dorsey … Chose Oregon State because “The football coaching staff made me feel like family, like I was a priority for this program. Then when I took my official visit it felt like home.” … Head Coach Charles Mincy: “He’s leaving early (to head to Oregon State), so that’s a sign that he’s taking care of business in the classroom. He’s a really smart kid. He’s been an integral part of our team, someone who has been a real team leader this year. He’s obviously real gifted on the field. Isaiah has played tight end, which has been his main position, but he’s also played quarterback when we needed him to, and defensive end, even linebacker in the championship game. I think he’ll find his way on the field early because he can do so many things. It’s good to see a kid like that will be given a chance to showcase his talent on a big stage. Beaver fans should be happy to see him help build the dam, which has been his motto. He’s stuck to that and he’s committed to making the Beavers a great team. Oregon State has gotten a winner.”
